Your hosts, Sheila & Jack Pope escaped to the Sunshine in 1974. We are both extremely active in the community, and enjoy sharing the beauty of the Sunshine Coast with visitors from around the world.

Jack retired from the classroom in 2006, but quickly replaced his love of teaching with other interests. He is currently serving as the Past President of the Sunshine Coast B&B Association, and was a Founding Director of Sunshine Coast Tourism, and also served on the Board of Directors for Vancouver Coast & Mountains Tourism Region.

Sheila recently retired from the real estate business, where she enjoyed a very successful career. She has replaced her busy work schedule with volunteer work as a member of the Sunshine Coast Search & Rescue Team, and Program Director for the Sechelt Rotary Club.

Retirement has given us both the gift of time... time to spend with our two grandchildren who live nearby, time to persue hobbies and time for travel. Life is Good!!
